Grade 1 -3

Our elementary curriculum at Hawler 2 Educational Academy has been carefully planned to accommodate the developmental requirements of early primary students. The curriculum, which has been developed in the English educational system, emphasizes Kurdish and Arabic, making sure that students become trilingual—fluent in English, Kurdish, and Arabic in childhood.

In addition to using Sunrise, the official government curriculum, our school additionally utilizes Family and Friends book as an extra reference for students in Grades 1 through 3. This enhances and promotes the growth of our students' English language proficiency.

The usage of specifically made language booklets, which are intended to improve writing abilities and encourage wonderful clear handwriting in all three languages, is an innovative feature of our curriculum. These materials provide systematic and interesting support for our dedication to childhood writing and language development.

One more crucial trait is that students get used to taking written tests instead of oral tests for monthly and final exams. By exposing children to formal testing procedures early on, this method boosts written communication skills, increases confidence, and gets them ready for future academic achievement.

In addition to encouraging intellectual curiosity, creative thinking, and self-confidence, our curriculum provides education in a comfortable compassionate, and motivating manner. The curriculum offers a diverse concentration on , science, mathematics, social skills, religion, physical education (PE), music, and the arts, offering a balanced and satisfying educational experience.

Our school offers two healthy meals (breakfast and lunch) every day in addition to a fun and secure playground to promote the growth and wellness of its students. We additionally arrange scientific trips, picnics, and a range of outdoor activities to improve learning outside of the classroom. Through these adventures, students can get a deeper grasp of the world, apply ideas learned in the classroom to real-world situations, and gain exposure to the world.
