Grade 4 -9
The curriculum for Grades 4–9 at Hawler 2 Educational Academy has been carefully developed to fulfill the growing intellectual and psychological requirements of upper primary and lower secondary pupils. The program, which has originated in the English educational system, keeps highlighting the value of Kurdish and Arabic while allowing students to become trilingual in English, Kurdish, and Arabic—a major advantage of our academic program.
By a combination of additional resources, our school improves language learning exceeding Sunrise, the official government curriculum. We use the Family and Friends book for grades 4–6. Moreover, the Project book and Sunrise are beneficial for grades 7 and 8. These additional facilities extend our pupils a more comprehensive education while also enhancing their English language proficiency.
Along with the three languages, students participate in a comprehensive and well-rounded curriculum that includes targeted instruction in the following subjects: science, mathematics, social sciences, music, physical education (PE), religion, art and social skills.
Our teaching methodology builds confidence, autonomous thinking, innovation, and critical thinking. The curriculum is intended to promote an interest of learning and a dedication to personal development when it is presented in a caring, encouraging, and exciting setting.
In order to promote the physical and mental well-being of our pupils, we provide them with daily access to a healthful cafeteria that promotes their physical growth and healthy lifestyles.
We support learning through experience outside of the classroom. Our academy offers a range of outdoor events, scientific events, picnics, and educational trips that provide students the chance to apply concepts in interesting and significant ways, discover new places, and make connections between what they have learned in the classroom and the real world.
Students' academic fundamentals are strengthened throughout this phase of the Hawler 2 journey, and they also develop behavioral resilience, character, and a greater awareness of their place in society and across the globe.
There are different classrooms for boys and girls at Hawler 2 Educational Academy beginning in Grade 6 and continuing through Grade 12. As a unique aspect of our school, this system demonstrates our dedication to establishing a comfortable, concentrated, and culturally sensitive learning environment.
